I haven't held a position as a tutor, but am often helping class mates learn the material as we go along. I scored a 630 on the Reading Portion of the SAT, a 700 on the Math Portion of the SAT, and 570 on the writing portion of the SAT. I really enjoy helping someone else learn the material and at the same time i find that if i can help someone else learn a topic I further improve my knowledge of the subject. I took, algebra 1 & 2, pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus in high school, I also took Pre-Ap Biology, and Physics while high school; I have also taken high school chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and AP Psychology. I am currently taking General Chemistry, Biology (Evolution, Behavior, and Ecology), General Psychology, and Disease with out borders this semester. Next semester I will be continuing my studies in General Chemistry, and will be taking French 102, Cell biology, and either statistics or another psychology course. I served in the Navy for two months (I was medically separated during basic training) prior to enrolling in college and learn how to work with a diverse group of people in a very rapid period of time, I also learn several valuable time management skills that I would be more than willing to pass on. Following my time at Austin College I intend to pursue a career in Medicine as a Cardio Thoracic Surgeon.
